The Altalena Music Festival and Summer Academy focuses on world-class education in the field of classical music, as well as a carefully curated concert series which runs simultaneously with the masterclasses.
The core concept of Altalena stresses the importance of community, and therefore organises adjoining workshops that brings people together.
Festival
The festival welcomes its audience from all over the world enhancing a cultural movement in the county of Pest. On most days there are two consecutive concerts in the evening played by world renowned artists, the Altalena Young Musicians and festival participants.
Learn
The Academy offers a learning platform for young professional musicians during the summer holiday. Besides the solo lessons, participants can join an in-house competition, play at the evening concerts and listen to fellow musicians, professor and guest artists.
Local
The event takes place in a very nice small town called Telki, neighbouring Budapest, surrounded by beautiful green landscape.
